Un Acercamiento Informal a La Inferencia Estadística Mediante Un Ambiente Computacional Con Estudiantes De Bachillerato

Resumen


En el trabajo se presentan resultados de una investigación sobre un acercamiento informal al estudio de la inferencia estadística a través de un ambiente computacional en contexto de datos reales. Como consecuencia de las características dinámicas y multirepresentacionales del software utilizado y la propuesta didáctica diseñada, los estudiantes desarrollaron ideas intuitivas y un razonamiento informal adecuado sobre conceptos que son cruciales en el estudio de la inferencia estadística, tales como variabilidad muestral, efecto del tamaño de muestra en la estimación de un parámetro poblacional y estimaciones informales de intervalos de confianza. En general, los resultados señalan que este enfoque informal puede ayudar a los estudiantes de bachillerato a mejorar el razonamiento inferencial previo al estudio de los métodos formales de inferencia.
